On August 18, 2020, Accessibility New York City hosted a Meetup entitled “Providing Remote Services for The Disability Community During The Pandemic.”
Presenter Jonathon Epstein — a community organizer specializing in transition, employment, and volunteer services — outlined how government agencies, non-profits, and cultural institutions are working together to support members of the disability community in the age of COVID-19.
He shared success stories and best practices for sourcing and delivering needed resources as well as utilizing technology to provide remote services. Slides from this presentation can be found here.
