We gained valuable insight regarding accessibility considerations when developing virtual reality software.

Why did you choose Equal Entry?

We chose to work with Equal Entry for three reasons:

1. While there were many web accessibility advising and auditing organizations in our search, not all of them had experience working on customized hardware applications like our public kiosk. Equal Entry had this experience and it really helped us to ensure we were able to address the issues that are very much unique to our system.
2. Equal Entry came recommended from our contacts in the community and we knew that they were highly active in the digital accessibility community, given that Thomas Logan leads the popular A11y Meetup group. Being a New York company with products on the streets of New York City, we valued the opportunity to work with someone local who understood the needs of the local community and could help us engage with them directly.
3. They had competitive pricing compared to others we considered.

What impresses you the most about product / service?

Equal Entry are thorough and easy to work with. They understand the constraints of our system and have been able to help us come up with creative ways around the challenges we're facing.

We chose Equal Entry based on their domain knowledge and selection of services (guidance, testing, and training) that exactly met our needs when we embarked on improving the accessibility of Tableau products. We also had a strong internal recommendation from someone with previous experience with Equal Entry staff.

I’m impressed with the level of knowledge and practical guidance that Equal Entry has provided us.

They have helped us create and refine a practical and deliverable roadmap for accessibility in Tableau products that allows us to meet the needs of the greatest number of users of our products with a reasonable level of investment.
