On July 16, 2020, Accessibility VR hosted a Meetup entitled "From Hack to Product Feature - How to Leverage R&D at Work Through Hackathons." Presenter Roland Dubois, Lead Product Designer at Virtual Facility, outlined how product teams in companies can take advantage of the hackathon ecosystem to incorporate XR technology and exploratory concepts into their software design lifecycle. Roland also demonstrated a functioning prototype of a hackathon project he built at the MIT Reality Hack 2020 in Boston, MA, titled “The Progressively Enhanced Indoor Navigation in WebXR.”
