On January 7, 2020, Accessibility New York City hosted a Meetup entitled “EdTech and HigherEd: Considerations for Digital Accessibility.” Presenter Zarina Mustapha, Senior Front-end Developer and Accessibility Lead at the Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL), Columbia University, outlined the importance of thoughtful design for educational technologies for accessibility and inclusion. She shared her experiences, challenges, and solutions in integrating learning design frameworks into the making of accessible educational technologies.
