Equal Entry CEO and Founder Thomas Logan will be among the all-star lineup of accessibility leaders at the Digital Inclusion and Accessibility Leadership Summit in Taiwan on April 25, 2024. This full-day event hopes to raise the visibility of information accessibility and accessibility in Taipei, Taiwan.
This first-of-a-kind initiative brings together thought leaders, innovators, researchers, educators, advocators, and practitioners in digital accessibility. The event will be primarily in English.
The goal of the summit is to use this kickoff event to elevate digital inclusion and accessibility visibility to begin the journey of building a collaborative ecosystem in Taiwan. An ecosystem that will empower and include individuals with diverse abilities’ participation in technology design, development,
and deployment.
The whole day event will include speakers and panel discussions. The keynoter speaker Frances West of FrancesWest&Co, is a Taiwanese native known for her innovative leadership skills in her role as IBM’s first Chief Accessibility Officer. During the Summit, Frances will release the Chinese version of her book Authentic Inclusion Drives Disruptive Innovation. The book has been on Amazon’s Top 100 Books in Digital Design.
Frances, along with other esteemed global speakers, Prof. Stela Lupushore, Dr. Christopher Lee, Thomas Logan, Neil Milliken, and local speakers, will share their knowledge on the transformative power of digital inclusion and accessibility as a critical focus area for governments, businesses, academia, and society at large.
